Round 12
Solomontown continue their winning way with a big win over the South Augusta side with Sumner (5 goals), Davey (4 goals) & Caputo (3 goals) all again being dominate around the big sticks. They are the team to beat for the 2025 premiership.
Davey surely would be the medal favorite at the minute with another top display.
Port with Woods kicking 4 majors had to fight hard to defeat a determined Westies side in very windy conditions, but they have certainly improved as the season has gone on.
Centrals again defeated the Lions in Pirie in very trying conditions with Newchurch being the difference between the 2 sides. The Lions certainly have dropped off the pace, and just to keep a place in the top 4, they will need to improve their game as Centrals and West are only 1 win behind them. It certainly makes the last 5 rounds very interesting with the 3 teams fighting for 2 positions.
Just a reminder that the 2025 Madigan Medal count will be held at Central Augusta Football Club. This event will be held on Monday night, the 1st September. More information to follow.
