2025 SGFL Medal Winners…

Madigan (League) Medal – Adam Coe (Port) 24 votes  Adam led the voting for most of the count, not only is he the 2025 Madigan Medallist he was also recognised by his peers as the SGLs choice as Captain of the 2025 SGL Team of the Year. Adam is seen to be the ball provider for team mates with his exceptional skills not only in the mid-field but all over the oval. A  little chirpy on the field but a worthy winner and a respected player by all opposition players and supporters…… well done Adam.

Dyason (Seconds) Medal – Andrew Horace (Solomontown) 13 votes   Andy had a different season with Cats moving between the League and the Seconds and done extremely well to capture the medal with only playing 8 Seconds games

Bishop  (Under18s) Medal – Jaxon Richards (Port) – 29 votes    Jaxon is a proven vote getter, winning Back to Back Bishop Medals, who runs tirelessly all day and not afraid to share the ball with team-mates.

Nobbs (Under15s) Medal – co-winners- Leo McInnes (South) & Diesel Arnold (Central) 23 votes    Both Leo and Diesel are big lads who consistently bring their team-mates into the game.
