Important information in relation to Grand Final Day, this Saturday at Memorial Oval.

GATES (Memorial Drive) will open at 8:00am

EFTPOS is available at the Gate and Canteens/Bars

Two Security Officers will be stationed at the entrance checking for alcohol in cars as they enter.

Entry is ONLY via Memorial Drive

Traffic will be managed on the day directing vehicles to parking areas as required – signage and bollards will be placed as areas fill up – attendees are asked to follow the directions provided by Traffic Managers/Officials/Security Officers.

Mary-Elie Street Gates are to be utilised for exit from the Oval.  These will be opened following games/presentations to allow vehicles to exit.

Security Officers will also be patrolling the oval surrounds throughout the day.

We ask that clubs also remind attendees that during breaks in play, NO alcohol is allowed on Playing areas, if crossing the oval, the square is a no go zone – and reserved only for Umpires and their attendant during the day.

Attendees are also reminded that alcohol is not to be moved between the upstairs balcony area and the ground level and must be consumed in the relevant purchase area. This will be monitored by Security.

Team Managers/Representatives are also asked to advise League staff on the day that Team Sheets are finalised and ready for printing at least 15 minutes prior to start time by attending the League Room.

Please note that some areas are pedestrian only areas, due to the location of canteens (namely the ‘tear drop’ located at the southern end of the oval, and also the ‘walk way’ between the oval roadway and toilets on the eastern side in between the spectator mounds.
