NAFC Country U15 Carnival
The Spencer Gulf U15 team recently competed in the North Adelaide Country U15 Carnival in Wilmington on Monday 9th June.
The first game vs Whyalla proved to be the toughest contest for the day, with Whyalla first to the ball on most occasions; our defence was solid and rebounded well.

The boys came to play in the second game vs Broken Hill and used the ball well; finding space and were very unselfish in finding the right scoring options.

The third game vs Northern Areas was the deciding game for the carnival, as both teams were undefeated. SGL continued their solid performance, with a great team game.

It is a credit to the team as they improved with each game, which led to the SGL as eventual winners of the carnival. Noah Kruger was named SGL’s best for the carnival.
We had 12 boys selected for the North Adelaide U15 Country squad, which will compete in the 2025 Intra-State Carnival in Adelaide July 8th-10th in the School Holidays. The following players have been selected for NAFC U15 Country are;
Lions FC Caleb Hoare, Ryleigh Nielsen, Ashton Gray & Connor Lavis.
Central Augusta FC: Cale Skipworth, Xaviah Reid & Diesel Arnold.
Solomontown FC: Declan King & Cooper Tattoli.
South Augusta FC: Noah Kruger & Leo McInnis.
West Augusta FC: Kurtley Von Senden.
