‘Player of the Week’ is Centrals Max McKeough, with 9 coaches votes
Max McKeough, has broken through for his first coaches votes of the season, collecting an impressive 9 out of 10 in Centrals win over the Lions. McKeough’s blend of strength, mobility and clean ball use was on full display, repeatedly driving Centrals forward and setting the tone around the contest. His efficiency with the ball made him one of the most influential players on the ground.

Round 6 Preview
Cats vs Lions (Memorial Oval)
This one has all the makings of a genuine sleeper contest. With both sides regaining key first-choice players and continuing to blood exciting Under‑18 talent, expect a faster, more dynamic game than their ladder positions suggest. If the Lions’ youth can match the Cats’ experience through the middle, this could develop into one of the most entertaining clashes of the round.
South vs Port (Central Oval)
Central Oval rarely gives visiting sides an easy ride, and this shapes as a classic territory battle. South will look to lock the ball in their half and bring pressure around the contest, while Port will need to absorb that heat and find clean exit. If you enjoy tough, contested footy, this is the one to watch.
Central vs West (ESTA Oval)
Momentum meets firepower in one of the round’s most intriguing matchups. West are building steadily and showing improved structure, while Central have match-winners in form capable of taking the game away quickly. If West can contain those bursts, expect another tight contest similar to their earlier meeting this season.
