The Round 1 ‘Players of the Week’ are Solomontown Cats’ Corey Davey and Port Bulldogs Blake Hanlon both scored a perfect 10 from the coaches after best-on-ground performances . The Lions were no match against the cats, who piled on 5 goal winning second quarter to the Lions solitary 1. The former 2 times Madigan Medalist has started off the season with true Medalist form. The Bulldogs Blake Hanlon, elusive as ever and spectacular around the goal front (3) was damaging all day long.
